Your firm needs an AI Council.
But you can't build one alone.
The Accounting AI Council is a peer group for CPA firm leaders who are serious about AI growth and governance, without the colleagues or cost of building an internal team.

Larger firms are moving fast. The Big Four and regional players have already stood up AI teams, piloted tools, and built internal governance policies. That pace is setting new client expectations and competitive benchmarks for the entire profession.
An AI Council is the group that leads AI for your firm. It finds the best places to use AI, tests them, and spreads what works. It also sets clear guardrails, so staff know what is safe and can get started without asking permission every time. In a larger company, this is a group of people. In a smaller company, it may be just one overburdened person.
That is where the growth comes from. When your people know the rules, they use AI more often and with more confidence. The hours saved on routine work go back to advisory services and the client relationships that bring in more revenue.
Small and midsized firms feel the same pressure, but the partners are billing and the managers are reviewing. The Accounting AI Council is a peer group where CPA firm leaders build their approach together, so your firm can keep pace with the larger players without building an internal team.
A peer council built for firms like yours.
The Accounting AI Council brings together ten to twelve CPA firms in a single monthly session. Each firm sends its AI champion, the person closest to AI adoption inside the practice. The managing partner or CEO sets the strategic direction. The champion does the work.
Sessions are ninety minutes, held virtually, once per month. They are facilitated by a consultant with thirty years of business and technology experience. The agenda focuses on governance, workflow optimization, and practical results. Competitive topics are never discussed, ever. The council exists to solve shared challenges, not to share business strategy.
Members do not need to be AI experts to join. They need to believe that AI matters and want a structured, responsible path forward. The council provides the governance foundation, the peer accountability, and the expert facilitation to make that path real.
What the council focuses on.
AI Governance Foundation
Tool selection, governance policy, ethics guidelines, and AI roadmap development. The foundation every firm needs before scaling anything.
How AI Actually Works
Practical literacy on large language models, prompting, context, and training, with just enough technical depth to make confident decisions.
Pilot Projects and ROI
Case analysis, measuring results, and solving real workflow problems with AI. What worked, what did not, and what to try next.
Scaling Responsibly
Expanding AI carefully across the firm, controlling cost, managing ongoing context, and maintaining the testing discipline that keeps governance real.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a training course?
No. This is a peer advisory group. Ralph facilitates, but the members drive the conversation. You learn from each other, not from a curriculum.
Who from my firm should join?
The managing partner or CEO applies and sets the strategic direction. The person they send to monthly sessions is typically their AI champion, whoever is closest to AI adoption inside the firm.
Will I be in sessions with competing firms?
Possibly. The council is not structured around geographic exclusivity. What we do guarantee is that competitive topics are never on the agenda. Most firms find that peers from similar sized practices, regardless of geography, are their most useful sounding boards. Sessions focus entirely on AI governance, workflow improvement, and getting better results from the tools your firm already uses. The value here comes from shared challenges, not shared markets.
What does charter membership cost?
The first three months are free for charter members. A $200 application fee holds your seat and is credited to your first paid quarter. Ongoing pricing is $300 per month, billed quarterly at $900.
How long is each session?
Ninety minutes, once per month, held virtually.
How does the application process work?
Start by requesting an invitation on this page. I personally read every request and follow up within a couple of business days. If it looks like a fit, we will set up a short call to talk through the council and answer your questions. From there, if you want to move forward, I will send you the full charter application.
